Desciption:
Height: 5'3"
Weight: -- {Unknown, most likely somewhere around 130-150.}

Appearance:
Usually wears a red Canadian flag hoodie, and jeans as well as black Converse tennis shoes, as his brother once said they were 'cool'. He wears thin wire-frame glasses, and is constantly carrying with him a note pad. You'll neer run into him with the same one twice, though. He runs out of paper quickly.
Background:
Due to an event when he was younger- The attempt of his murder- he is not mute. Said murderer killed both his fathers, as well as put his fraternal twin brother in critical condition, as well as himself. Alfred didn't lose his voice, but had been stabbed in the chest and the blade barely missed his heart. Said Alfred now cannot do any real strenuous aerobic excercises, or anything that might make him short of breath. Including many things he used to do with Matthew.
After their parents' death, they lived in orphanages, seeing as the boys were both only twelve. They were constantly being given to other orphanages until they were both eightteen, and were kicked out of the system. They both found jobs, and, when money is tight for the both of them stay with a friend of one of their father's. Alfred always questioned why they hadn't simply lived with the oddly peppy Finnish man, but shrugged it off.
Matthew is currently doing well, making enough money to pay the rent for his apartment, and enough for his needs and a few wants.
It's generally found that he has stacks of memo pads in his room, so as he can grab one easily before he leaves for work.
Speaking of his job, he works as a journalist, this being his source of major income. He occasionally finds small side jobs when he has nothing to write about, and makes a few dollars off of those.

People know and love Matthew for he writes articles for the local newspaper. He occasionally gets asked to do interviews for other newspapers, most specifically ones for the local high school's news. He always declines, but never explains why, as the questions are asked via email.
Lately he was looking for something new in the area and found out about a gang, and decided to see about finding them himself.

Matthew had been walking by and stopped for a moment to look at the tree, seeing as it was quite large and beautiful. Well, he stopped when he saw a girl sitting beneath it, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Aiko looked up at him and smiled, putting out the cigarette."Hello."she said, stuffing her hands in her pocket.
The Canadian, without thinking, tried to say a quick 'Hello' back, but found himself only mouthing it before rather quickly pulling out a small notebook and pen to write it down.
